Stronger immune system
Raw sheep milks is super-rich in healthy bacteria and makes for a great probiotic drink that can benefit your digestive system. It has various enzymes that may help improve the digestion of nutrients from other foods.
Increased Bone Density
Drinking milk has long been associated with healthy bones. This is due to its powerful combination of nutrients, including calcium, phosphorus, potassium, protein and (in grass-fed, full-fat dairy) vitamin K2. All of these nutrients are essential for maintaining strong, healthy bones.
Healthier skin, hair and nails
When it comes to healthy hair and nails, all of that raw protein and calcium that is in raw milk will do wonders for both your hair and nails. Milk contains lactic acid, which is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) ingredient that many modern skin care products include. Lactic acid is especially popular in anti-aging face cleansers. Studies show it helps remove dead skin cells and stimulates new cell growth.
Meet Your Shepherdess
Let Us Be Apart of Your Food Journey
Our dream of starting a backyard sheep dairy started in 2019. Through years of stomach pain and no answers, we finally discovered that I had a variety of stomach issues and a ton of food sensitivities. After healing my stomach, we had ruled out all dairy. I couldn't do goat or cow milk, so that was the end of that. I was devastated. My desert island, last meal, if you could choose one food to eat for the rest of your life....was ice cream and dairy desserts. And my stomach was telling me I couldn't have it anymore.
I had never heard of sheep milk until family members mentioned Manchego cheese. A pure sheep cheese. My stomach and tastebuds were finally agreeing. I had the great fortune to try some sheep milk ice cream and I was sold. Within 6 months, we had our own flock and our first milking season was in 2021.

I know personally the struggles, both physically and emotionally, faced when trying to find healthy foods that agree with your stomach. Sheep milk could be the answer to a lot of your questions and heartache. We share our milk with others so they can enjoy the benefits of sheep's milk, and reduce the struggle of finding healthy, gut approved dairy products. We'd love to welcome you into our family/community where we share the love and health benefits of raw sheep's milk.

Our current flock is made up of East Freisan/Gulf Coast Cross dairy sheep. We have added a Lacaune/Awassi/East Freisan ram this year. The East Freisan/Lacaune/Awassi is the dairy side, the Gulf Coast helps with the Tennnessee weather and makes our sheep a little hardier. Dairy sheep are considered more delicate than most meat or wool breeds. We have 6 ewes (female sheep). We have a Ram (intact male) and a Wether (nonintact male). The Wether is there to keep our Ram company in the off season, as sheep need other sheep to keep them company. I currently milk by hand, but have plans to upgrade to a milking machine in the coming years. We look forward to expanding our flock and being able to provide more sheep's milk to our community.
